Hey. How’s it going.
This whole “about me” thing is kinda weird, isn’t it?
I had an entire bio written out with all kinds of pictures and stuff, but I thought it seemed a bit boring and serious. So I deleted it. See ya byeee.
So what’s there to know about me? If you really wanna know, here’s the cole’s notes:
I’m from small-town Ontario, Canada.
I am a wife, mom, sister, daughter and friend.
My husband is my high school sweetheart.
I have an intimidatingly large King German shepherd. He’s the best. (Related: My vacuum may have more miles on it than my car.)
I love horses.
I loathe cooking.
I’m a group fitness instructor and am generally enthused by a fit lifestyle and torturing people with way too many tricep dips. Come to my class. I dare you.
I love essential oils and have started hoarding them.
I’m an extroverted introvert. I love reading and crocheting and very much enjoy being alone. (Is it a bit weird that I get up on stage to teach fitness classes to large groups of people every week? Yes. I’m aware. It’s weird. But somehow it works!)
I have a notebook-collecting problem and would buy another dotted leuchtturm in a heartbeat even though there are 3 blank ones starring at me as I type this.
I prefer manual transmission and will get another 5-speed IMMEDIATELY as soon as I don’t have to sport a carseat.
I don’t like vanilla ice cream. Or vanilla anything, really.
The name of my blog is basically two nicknames I gained through becoming an aunt. #Currently, Coco is the preferred moniker.
I try my best to live a healthy life, but I’m human and I enjoy cookies and Somersby’s and pizza
sometimes often. I don’t believe in depriving myself and so I’ll probably never have the stereotypical “instructor” physique.
(Zero f*&#s about having a perfect-looking body.)
I love writing and have wanted to be an author since I was a little girl. It’s still a goal of mine. I figured a blog was a good place to start “publishing”.
I won’t try to tell you I’m a fitness expert or guru, because fitness is evolving all the time and I am a life-long learner. Nobody is an expert. I have a passion for it so that’s what I enjoy sharing here.
I love dancing. I’m pretty bad at it, but I always have a good time.
I’m probably the sweatiest person you’ll meet and am always hot. Always. So don’t be surprised if you see me at the gym, I’ll look like I just stepped out of a pool with all my clothes on. Not exaggerating.
I don’t like wine. Or beer. I’ve never had an entire beer in my life. I’m 29, and I no longer believe that I’ll “learn” to like it. #vodkaplease
I laaaave writing but as mentioned previously, I am not an expert. I learn as I go and while I certainly don’t enjoy spelling error’s and grammer mistakes, I’m certain you’ll find some around here. (See what I did there? Ha ha.) Especially on my older posts. Sorry about that. You didn’t come here for the grammar did you? Didn’t think so.
I hope you’ll stick around! If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’re a mom and you’re mildly into fitness.
Am I right?
